Trade certificate 1970 and NZ Certificate in Building 1974.
We inspect 100 year old villas, bungalows, brick and tile, units and
houses with many types of plaster wall claddings with a particular emphasis
on weathertightness
A NZ Standards 4306:2005 written report is completed after
an on site inspection. The report includes a list of any areas requiring
attention with an approximate cost for repairs. The building inspection
report will be emailed to the customer on the day following the inspection.
A Lim report may not include additions or alterations to the building,
work completed
without a building consent or work not signed off upon completion by Council. Unpermitted work may result in expensive costs for purchaser.
A code of compliance does not mean that a building is weather tight. For
example- an exterior wall cladding system may not have been completed according
to manufacturers specifications.
